I love rugs

I had no idea I love rugs. I had no idea what they were for. I like hardwood and I don't like carpets.  But rugs are beautiful and they totally can make a room.  I also didn't know they were expensive.  Cheapest to most expensive?

The living room rug the saleswoman told us I pulled this for you. This is the rug you will buy.  We had come back for the third and final time.  First time we were just looking for ideas.  Second time I went back with the designer and we pulled and set aside some choices for yesterday Sunday.  Then yesterday we went back to finalize the rugs because we had ordered most of our furniture.

I just have to say these rugs are beautiful and in many ways art.  I couldn't appreciate it till I got older. But now that I'm older I appreciate it.  The kids thought they were all ugly.

    I find rugs much more practical and aesthetically pleasing than carpet. Most carpets are just this singular color, and it's pretty much a permanent fixture. Carpets can be decorative and yet, you can change the patterns around. Best of all, you can clean both the rug and the hardwood floor much easier than carpet.

    And until the kids start paying their own mortgages, they're just gonna have to love those rugs!
