We were supposed to close tomorrow but it's been delayed. This is the first time in all of our home purchases journey that we have not been able to close on time. Technically we are still early sinec we initially said 7/24 then 7/17 and now 7/15. It's a little frustrating.
What is missing? Seriously they told me today that they couldn't get our taxes from the IRS. It wasn't processing. I was like I uploaded it. They said we need to see that you recieved it and that you filed a 2025 extension and that you have confirmation of the refunds and bank account statements. I was like are you serious? Not only that but they wanted us to docusign the efiled tax return that has on the tax return a PIN number for efiling. That it was not good enough. We had to docusign that the tax return was real. No one signs tax returns with real signatures.
I was so frustrated because if that was the hold up then what is their problem. The other problem is dealing with a lender that is not local so they aren't running on west coast time. They end early. Again seriously? We have four different time zones. What is the problem? Just do everything on PST because it's unfair we have to end by 1 pm EST.
I'm glad they are trying to be more stringent. But seriously? They can't get their act together? I had all documents ready and if they had asked initially I would have uploaded everything all at once. This back and forth piecemeal crap is annoying as heck.
Much better second floor rec room view.

The photo is amazing though! And you are not joking about the view. You can see the ocean just from sitting there... or is that a lake?
Anyways, hope this goes through very soon!

I bet you are anxious to get into your new home. Sometimes it's a pain in dealing with banks that aren't local. I hope the situation gets resolved soon.
