On the Market

May 1st, 2015 at 07:08 am

We went on the market Tuesday afternoon for $699k. We had a broker showing on Wednesday and yesterday a broker open house. Three buyers came with their brokers to the open house, and one returned with her husband. We had another showing and she already returned with her husband Thursday night. Late last night my broker called me and said that one of the couples wanted to know our closing date because they were putting together an offer. Keep your fingers crossed. We have our open house this weekend and no showings scheduled as of yet today. But mostly we've been out and I haven't been able to post photos.

It's been incredibly hard to live show ready and be out of the house all the time.

Your home is lovely. You've done a great job with your decluttering; it looks staged not lived in.

    Best of luck. Smile

It looks lovely. It will sell in no time. What city do you live in right now?

You did things right on your cleaning, decluttering, depersonalizing and staging. Yes, it is VERY hard to show ready and out of the house. I hope that offer is the right one.

With little ones around to mess things up, you have done an amazing job! It does look staged. Fingers crossed for multiple offers and a quick, painless sale!

Thank you very much. CCF it was a lot of work and I got a ton of advice and reviews from friends. I did not pay someone I just had my realtor come and friends with RE experiences and picky friends who house hunt a lot. Then I took the advice and did it. AR it is super hard.

I've been actually critisized because it's not staged because my furnituyre doesn't match, but I think working with what I have I did well. And I didn't spent a fortune. I think all in $4k with $1700 interior $1600 exterior painting, $200 storage fees, $150 at home depot, $100 on a new mailbox. But the painting was necessary and we didn't have time to do it ourselves.
